The Feltex Design Team have once again been called on to weave their custom carpet magic for a modern hotel renovation. The new look Perouse Lodge, located in the frequently visited Sydney suburb of Randwick, underwent a complete transformation created by the passionate interior and building designers at Spaces + Places.

With a brief based on bright rooms, contemporary facilities and in-style decor, our hard working designers got to work producing a custom woven Axminster carpet made from a rich blend of premium wools, that combined resilience with a soft underfoot feel. The bespoke carpet in classically neutral charcoal, mid-grey and warm caramel colours featured a linear pattern that served to visually enhance the sense of space. A perfect commercial carpet for heavy traffic areas, with a linear design running the length of the hotel’s corridors, it also seamlessly merged with the streamlined furnishings of each hotel room.

Combining state of the art technology with traditional weaving skills, Feltex supplied a deluxe woven carpet that perfectly complements the refurbished Perouse Lodge.
