A Melbourne dining treasure is revitalised

Melbourne’s grandest restaurant, Treasury, has unveiled a sleek refurbishment which is sure to impress for your next event.

The 300 seat Treasury Restaurant in Collins Street now boasts contemporary furnishings such as plush sofas, oversized lamps and backlit tables, transforming this grand old space with drama and impact; whilst also enhancing the beautiful interior architecture of this Melbourne landmark, originally constructed in 1876.

The intense dark wall colours create an air of intimacy at ground level, whilst simultaneously emphasizing the height and heritage features above. The use of sophisticated sheer fabrics in the drapery together with luxurious upholsteries, create an elegant space befitting the buildings era.

Soundly housed in the original premises of the Bank of Australasia, Treasury has retained many of the original features such as the nineteenth century brass doors, high atrium-style roof, decorative ceiling and pillars, stunning chandeliers, a sunken marble foyer and a glossy chrome bar and lounge area…making this a true Melbourne treasure.
