AMX Australia Expands Support, Capability & Presence in NSW/ACT

AMX Australia is pleased to announce the addition of Peter Swanson to the AMX team in a new role of Business Manager NSW/ACT.

Peter comes to AMX with over 12 years’ experience in the AV Integration industry.  Starting his career at Electrosonic in the UK as project engineer, Peter immigrated to Australia in 2002 to take up a position with B&H Australia as a Systems Engineer/Manager. Peter joins AMX from WSP Lincolne Scott where he headed up the company’s AV consultancy business and helped build the company’s reputation in the AV industry through involvement in landmark projects across all facets of the market.

In addition to his leadership role at WSP Lincolne Scott, Peter has contributed his time over the past two years as a volunteer for InfoComm International. His involvement has included chairing the Asia Pacific Region Council, participating as member of the workgroup which developed the Audio Coverage Uniformity standard and membership of the Standards Planning Committee. Peter also regularly contributes to AV Magazine and other publications and will continue his high-level involvement with InfoComm in his new role at AMX.

Based in the new AMX Sydney office, Peter will work directly with the AMX Dealer Network in NSW and the ACT to help grow their existing Control Systems business and foster significant growth across AMX newer Signal Management and Digital Media product lines.  In addition, Peter gives AMX a Business Development resource in the region with a diverse experience and the ability to identify and manage opportunities in key vertical markets to pull-through the AMX Dealer Network.
