Prototype launch new website

In line with its reputation for innovation and excellence, commercial furniture supplier Prototype has launched an easy-to-negotiate website boasting a sleek interface, improved functionality and new brands, enabling its clients to envision – and achieve – exactly the look they want.

With a fresh, crisp design, Prototype's updated online presence offers a host of useful new features. One of the company's key points of difference is its ability to tailor products to fit any client's requirements. Prototype can either create furniture from scratch, or take a core piece and tailor it to suit the design specification, or simply upholster in any desired fabric to compliment the venue or space. To see what Prototype can do for you simply click on the Made to Fit tab…

Just as Prototype is all about customising furniture solutions to clients' needs, so its new-look website has been tailored to be as user-friendly as possible and provide all the latest information about Prototype products and services. Visitors to the website can therefore browse hundreds of products in categories that run the gamut from tub chairs and tabletops to ottomans, lounges and umbrellas. Prototype prides itself on bringing together some of the best furniture solutions from around the world, so here you'll find everything from stackable contemporary stools ideal for commercial use from Italian design firm EMU, to beautifully constructed bentwood chairs from Polish manufacturer Paged Mabel, which has a furniture-making pedigree that stretches back more than a century.

Looking for some furniture inspiration? Simply check out the project galleries, featuring images of some of the company's latest and greatest work – like the beautiful refurbishment of the heritage Bellevue pub in Sydney's ultra-cool Paddington, or the bar and cafe fit-outs carried out as part of the dazzling $700-million Hilton Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast. Here, too, you can read project briefs and breakdowns that demonstrate how Prototype builds projects from whoa to go.

There's more coverage of all things Prototype in the website's media news section, which shows where Prototype has been and been seen, and in the regular newsletter, designed to keep clients up to date with all that's happening. And as if this wasn't enough, there are plans to roll out an exciting new wholesale log-in service soon.
