New Heatstrip Max
Australian heating specialist and manufacturer, Thermofilm, has introduced a new outdoor heater for the hospitality industry and given its Heatstrip Classic a makeover.
Heatstrip Max is a completely new heater in the Heatstrip® range that has been designed for the hard to heat area, either in the open and permanently exposed to the elements, or undercover. This makes it ideal for beer gardens, smoking areas, open verandahs, courtyards and any alfresco dining areas, including coastal locations and where a more intense heat is required.
A unique feature of Heatstrip Max is its innovative high-temperature, infra-red, low-glow incoloy element technology, which has many advantages over other outdoor heaters.
Traditional infra-red elements have a blinding glow that is not only distracting and obtrusive for customers, but wastes energy producing its high glow. Even though Heatstrip Max has a heat output of up to 700°C, it is very energy efficient. And while gas heaters are noisy, Heatstrip Max operates silently and minimises energy bills.
The high temperature output means the heaters can be installed at higher mounting points for the more exposed and difficult to heat areas, and has a larger footprint, meaning fewer units are required.
The high-tech metallic incoloy heating element (14 mm diameter) is vandal-proof and virtually indestructible, unlike glass quartz elements, which can shatter. This provides considerable added value to any exposed outdoor heating system.
Like all heaters in the Heatstrip range, this unique long-life element is Australian designed, engineered and assembled. Heatstrip Max comes with a two-year replacement warranty.
Another advantage of the dual-element Heatstrip Max is its ability to be used on ceilings up to 3.5 metres high. Manufactured to a robust, commercial grade quality, it comes with ceiling, wall, chain/wire and pole suspension mounting options and can be supplied with a lead and plug for easy DIY installation*.
To celebrate the launch of the Heatstrip Max, Thermofilm will donate $50 from the sale of every heater to commercial venues, to the McGrath Foundation (supporting breast cancer) or the E.J. Whitten Foundation (prostate cancer and men's health), or alternatively to a charity of the choice of the purchaser/venue owner (conditions apply).
Following its popularity in coastal areas, Heatstrip Classic, with its distinctive slim profile and black face, now has superior corrosion protection.
These stylish heaters now have a unique alloy casing, making them ideal for any locations ─ even inside. Heatstrip has no internal moving parts, which ensures silent and maintenance-free operation. The Classic range of electric radiant heaters provides an even and comfortable heat that is designed for undercover outdoor applications, blending elegantly into any décor.
They are one of the most energy efficient heaters available in Australia with running costs starting from just 30 cents per hour**.
New accessories allow Heatstrip Classic to be flush mounted in a ceiling for a high-end, streamlined look, and when an area has high ceilings, the units can be lowered with extension poles and suspension chains. A range of other mounting options are also available depending on the layout of the area to be heated and type of overhead structure. Heatstrip can even be installed under an umbrella.
All Heatstrip heaters are fully designed, engineered and assembled in Australia, for Australian conditions. |
