Nightlife keeps concert goers entertained

On Sunday January 22, crowdDJ entertained punters between bands at the Redland Bay Hotel’s Hotter Than Hell concert. The crowd was there for one thing and one thing only – a heavy dose of classic Aussie rock! The Driving Conditions opened up the event, followed by The Radiators, and Jon Stevens, with the legendary Jimmy Barnes bringing it home.

Nightlife was contacted by ALH Group’s Entertainment Manager Ian Smith in the lead up to the event. Nightlife provided visuals for the big screen and operated crowdDJ; allowing concert goers to vote for their favourite songs to play between sets!

Nightlife even bumped into Troy Cassar-Daley! Turns out he was already an old hand with crowdDJ. He’d used the app to pick songs at the Intrust Super Cup Grand Final at Suncorp Stadium. His pick? ‘Telephone Booth’ by Ian Moss. Later in the night Jimmy Barnes asked him up on stage to help sing and play guitar for ‘Khe Sanh’. What a great end to the night!
