Paul Kelly launched Paul Kelly Design in 1997 and immediately targeted niche markets originally in retail, later focusing on Super Clubs and Lounge Bars. The company now targets boutique hospitality entertainment venues and hotels, with a portfolio of high quality clients, whose work has received numerous local and international accolades.

Paul Kelly has completed over 75 hospitality ventures in Australia and throughout Asia, with a team of Architects and Interior Designers behind him working from a converted abbey studio space in Glebe.  Paul Kelly prides himself on the business of success and believes that financial viability of a project and functionality of a space takes priority to the visual aspect (albeit a very close second).

Recently Paul Kelly received the 2007 Bar award ‘Venue Design of the Year’ for the Polo Lounge and Supper Club in Taylor Square, distinguished from its competition as a truly international venue it both offerings and service, they have also won the ‘Hotel Bar of the Year 2008 – NSW’ for Zedbar in Alburyand more recently the AHA Canberra winner for Tongue and Groove – ‘best redeveloped licensed venue 2009’.
