The Mercure Perth Hotel is located in the centre of the CBD and the design inspiration was taken from the modern and sophisticated energy of this city.  The client wanted to create an environment for the Beccaria restaurant and bar that was contemporary, comfortable and embraced the branding of this international hotel.

Elsie + Betty redesigned the space to allow better interaction between the restaurant and bar, although the area has been opened up, the new transparent screens allow the spaces to feel distinct from each other while also improving the flow between the restaurant and bar.

To create the new relaxed style they selected natural and timeless finishes such as stone, timber, mirror and metal which were used as a base for the design, then they layered these with vibrant coloured upholsteries and accessories, rich blues and purples are highlights throughout.

Elsie + Betty custom designed the mirrors, screens and  joinery to suit the modern design.  The loose furniture selection was classic and comfortable with a contemporary style, the textures and patterned elements have a strong presence throughout the restaurant and bar and create an inviting atmosphere which adds to the richness of the space.

The Beccaria restaurant and bar have an elegance and warm ambiance which is inviting for all who visit the Mercure Hotel Perth.
