Perth’s newest late night eatery Darlings Supper Club is the latest project of Andy Freeman who is also behind both the Luxe Bar and Varnish on King Street.
Unique features of the site include a rear alfresco and raised front verandah.

The ambience is one of an Asian fusion restaurant clashing with Rock and Roll Diner.

It was more of a re-fit than anything structural; adding texture and tone. The 100-year-old building lent itself to show its history through raw tones and brick.

Raw brick and jarrah floorboards added with youthful greenery gibes a great feel plus a splash of pink. The greenery that is used throughout the space; inside and out ties the concept together. Inside there is a 10 metre living wall set against railway sleepers.

The lighting design was imperative, creating ambiance along with ample lighting for dining situations. Out the front there is a pink neon street sign which has the perfect backdrop of the Perth city skyline. The custom made sign not only is it the logo for Darlings Supper Club, but also it quickly became an iconic image that people use on their social media accounts when visiting the venue. Driving down Lake Street, you cant miss it.
