Miss Moneypenny’s was designed with its iconic Queensland location firmly in mind. The brand new venue spans approximately 500sqm and accommodates up to 190 guests. The interior layout is a contemporary and chic design with a semi-formal dining atmosphere inside and an inviting outside deck with perimeter lounges providing the perfect spot for a lazy afternoon soirée. The ambience is relaxed, approachable, to reflect its beach proximity. It’s a venue designed to allow you to walk straight off the beach at 3pm and stay for dinner.

The planning of the space is reminiscent of a traditional Queenslander. Cool internals for the summer months, shielded by a wraparound verandah. Perfectly suited to our relaxed Australian lifestyle.

The venue has been designed to provide several types of experiences in the one venue. The patron can visit the space again and again and sit in different areas around the venue and experience the space in a different way each time. The areas are: the wrap around balcony, the internal dining area, the high seating area in front of the bar and the rear lounge with fireplace. The internal and external boundaries are blurred.

The finishes palette reflects its beachside location, a base palette of warm white offset by natural and dark chocolate timbers.

Lighting is integral to the mood of Paul Kelly’s venues, avoiding the use of direct lighting, all of his lighting is indirect and dimmable.
