After completing the refurbishment of the North Sydney Hotels’ bar and bistro in 2014, Luchetti Krelle were invited back to design the hotel’s boutique accommodation.

The brief, to create an elegant, unique and comfortable accommodation experience that playfully harked back to the buildings character and charm. It was important that the refurbishment complimented the traditional character of the bar and bistro below.

Each of the 13 rooms were uniquely designed and decorated with stunning hand illustrated French wallpaper. Individual to each room, the wallpaper set the tone and inspired the rich colour palate and bold textures of the soft furnishings.

Fire places and balconies were reinstated and a carefully curated mix of antique and contemporary furniture and lighting complimented the traditional charm of the heritage listed building.
