The International has recently completed an extensive refurbishment by internationally renowned designers Hecker Phelan & Guthrie, enhancing its reputation as one of Melbourne’s finest function venues.

Hecker Phelan & Guthrie has created a sexy venue that oozes theatricality. Whilst retaining characteristics of the building’s past, The International features contemporary furnishing alongside fake mouldings, skirtings, wall panelling and columns retained from its’ previous incarnation.

The choice of the bold, graphic carpet patterns was inspired by the building’s 1960s past.
