Nestled between restaurant Verdé and Francis Lane, Totò bar and restaurant is an exercise in considered planning and context sensitivity. With a nod to the building’s Victorian heritage, the interior expression lays bare the original timber and brick structure, reinvigorating old materials in new forms. Precious space is maximised within a tight footprint and augmented via a ground floor café which spills invitingly out to the street.

The raw and industrial aesthetic showcases a main bar clad strikingly with calacutta viola marble and corten steel, blackened steel bar shelving, raw concrete floors and rustic leathers. Upstairs a private dining room sets a complementary and intimate tone via rich hardwood floors and ceilings.
