Hyde Park Hotel, a rustic urban grunge environment was created for new and existing patrons within the area.
In this design the use of existing bricks, steel columns and beams was used together with insert flashes to make it sleek using modern elements to the exterior and interior areas which provided a modern industrial chic aesthetic.
The brief was drawing on sensibilities both rough and refined; designer Jenlin Chia sought to complement the restaurants with warm textures and locally fabricated materials.
Mega Vision Sound and Lighting supplied and installed the audio visual requirements of the venue including Turbosound Impact 55 and Impact 65 speakers as well as QF8 ceiling speakers, all driven by Quest 2004 and 3004 amplifiers.
A Media Matrix NION NXE 8 Line in 8 Line out programmable digital audio processing node is used along with a
Crestron CP2e Processor, a
Crestron 6" Touch Panel and
Crestron 75W Power Supply.
50" Panasonic commercial grade plasma screens have also been installed.

Crestron CP2e
The CP2E is a compact Ethernet control system designed for small to medium sized commercial control applications. Three built-in COM ports, eight IR/Serial ports, eight I/O Versiports, eight isolated relays, and Ethernet provide for control of video projectors, plasma displays, switchers, DVD players, screens, lifts, and much more. Additional control ports may be added using Cresnet expansion modules, or by "slaving" additional control processors such as the CP2. |
