For months people have been whispering about the iconic venue affectionately known as the ‘old Rob Roy’ since she had some work done. This was no lunch-time botox, but a total refurbishment guided
by Melbourne designer and street-artist, Kano Hollamby.
The Public Bar has been aired out and warmed up with stretches of wood panelling, vintage furniture and ironic curios, giving the room a relaxed, holiday-cabin
feel. Local record store selectors spin old soul and new grooves most evenings, giving punters somewhere fresh to wind down - or wind up - after work.
Sideshow is an intimate private bar that’s homely but unlike anywhere your relatives have ever lived. Lined with customised wallpaper inspired by a tropical greenhouse it’s the perfect size for a private
party for up to 80 of your closest friends.

walls mind you - outfitted with just a few tables to keep it cosy.
Just out the back door you’ll find yourself nestled in the back lanes of old Fitzroy and the often bustling outdoor courtyard.
The Band Room has had a complete refurb since its sticky-carpet days in the Rob Roy. With a capacity of 170, the Band Room is a mid-size live music and performance space with great sight-lines and a full-length bar for quick service.
Workers Club has a full band PA, DJ equipment and stage lighting supplied by Johnston Audio Services.Specifications provided upon request as the gear changes regularly.
