Armadillo

A nocturnal animal found in central and south america which begins its activity around dusk. ORIGIN late 16th cent.: from Spanish, diminutive of armado ‘armed man.’

In our version, designed by the Luis Eslava studio, the shape and the platelets which make up it’s armour create a textured light and shadow play unique in its genre. See how this texture comes to life at night when illuminated from within creating on one hand, spectacular reflection and on the other translucence. Currently available in two different sizes of suspension light. The textured material of it’s armour opens a whole world of decorative ideas which will be further developed by us in the future.
