Pattern

Italian manufacturer EMU introduces Pattern, a family of chairs and tables in pressed and molded sheet metal designed by Paris based Israeli designer Arik Levy.

The chair shell is made using a 'deep drawing' process, fabricated from a single sheet of steel. The legs are also made by the deep drawing of a metal sheet, which is then joined to the structures with an advanced welding process known as TIG.

What results is a visually lightweight industrial influenced piece that is seemingly manipulated from a singular steel sheet.

A distinctive hexagonal pattern decorates the seat and backs of the chairs, and is repeated on the table tops as well, adding to the visual lightness.

Available in an array of colours in square, rectangular and round tables as well as an armchair.
