Hyatt Regency Coolum Unveils New Dune Beach Club

Hyatt Regency Coolum has added to its array of spectacular event locations with the unveiling of a magnificent new Dune Beach Club.

With dramatic views of Mt Coolum and direct access to the broad white sands of the neighbouring beach, the club provides an outdoor space of more than 450sqm for dinners, cocktail parties and other corporate events.

Its centrepiece is a 190sqm swimming pool, providing a hub for leisure activities and a lively social space with surrounding café tables and market umbrellas. Alongside, manicured lawns provide a blank slate for event organisers with more than 360sqm of open space, secluded beside coastal bushland away from the rest of the resort.

The Dune Beach Club can host up to 270 people for banquets or 500 for cocktail parties, served by its own fully equipped kitchen and bar service area. It can be decorated with an almost limitless choice of lighting and staging options, offered by the resort's events partner Staging Connections.

The opening of the Dune Beach Club coincides with the latest in a series of stylish refurbishments to Hyatt Regency Coolum's accommodation, creating a contemporary new look for the resort's popular King Rooms.

The first phase in a complete renewal of 156 King Rooms has been completed, part of a program that has already seen the upgrade of Golf Villas, Lakefront Villas and the extensive health and beauty facilities of The Spa.

With its world-class facilities and inspirational setting, Hyatt Regency Coolum is the Sunshine Coast's premier destination for meetings and events. It offers dozens of indoor and outdoor venue options catering for up to 1200 people – anything from a small team-building event to a major international conference.

Hyatt Regency Coolum offers 324 guest rooms including spacious suites and self-contained villas, plus a wide array of sports and leisure facilities including Australia's best-ranked resort golf course and the largest spa complex in the Southern Hemisphere.

The resort is 10 minutes from Sunshine Coast Airport, a 90-minute flight from Sydney or two hours from Melbourne. It is just 90 minutes by road from Brisbane and 20 minutes from Noosa.
