Saltec put the rock in Rock Lily

With the hundreds of millions of dollars being injected into Star City’s much-needed revamp, it was only a matter of time before new bar and restaurant offerings started flowering. The first to make a splash is Rock Lily, an intimate live music venue that doubles as an impressive shrine to tequila.

As part of Star City's renovation the development of the new Main Gaming Floor Bar, Rock Lily has been been a project of considerable time, effort and passion for Casino management. This intimate 200-capacity bar is a welcome addition to the scene for anyone into their live music.

Saltec supplied and installed a Meyer PA system comprising of 8 x Mina compact array speakers, 2 x 500-HP subwoofers, and 3 x USM-1P stage monitors. A Yamaha LS9-16 digital mixing console was chosen along with a Meyer Galileo digital sound processor.

Saltec also provided a hearing augmentation system comprising of an Ampertronic Hearing Induction Loop Amplifier and a portable inductive loop receiver/monitor. Vision included 2 x Sharp 32" LCD TVs.

Rock Lily was designed by The Friedmutter Group. This design was further developed by the Buchan Group under the management of the Project Star Design and Construct Manager Loi Tran. Rock Lily features a mixture of new, vintage and wooden interiors with concrete floors and converted Cadillac seat booths, plus a juke box and photobooth.
