Diemme at Charlestown Square

Diemme Creative were excited to be commissioned by award winning architects Daryl Jackson Robyn Dyke Pty Ltd to provide wall cladding for the redevelopment of Charlestown Square, one of Newcastle's largest shopping centres.

Stone was used to clad the columns but it proved too heavy and impractical for the upper areas.

StoniniTM in 3D profiles Soulages (an existing profile) and Nicci (custom created) were used to clad the upper faces and ceiling beams of the extensive walkways. All panels were produced using customised colour as the colour needed to be organic, with tonal variation in keeping with a stone-like look.
