Australian Monitor AMD Series now available

The AMD series of mixer amplifiers from Australian Monitor represent a quantum leap forward in connectivity, controllability and flexibility in the constant voltage amplifier market. The AMD series allows a contractor to integrate his mixer amplifier to a third party control system, enable PC control, add ICON CP control panels for remote audio control or simply use the AMD amplifiers as standard stand alone mixer amplifiers.

Add to this the power and flexibility of on board DSP processing and you have EQ, dynamics, delay and level control, all available to tailor your audio system to the most challenging of acoustic environments and deliver the highest possible sound quality for the end user.

Initially, the range consists of two models, the AMD100 and AMD200. Both are a 1 rack space, highly efficient Class-D amplifier design with a fully featured mixer and DSP stage.

The AMD100 is a 100w mixer amplifier with 4 mic/line inputs and 4 program inputs. The AMD200 is a 200w mixer amplifier with 8 mic/line inputs and 4 program inputs. Both feature low impedance and 70v/100v outputs as well as on-board tones (Alert, EVAC, Pre-Announce and Bell), VCA master, Vox triggered out, low power contact closure & 24VDC battery backup. Add to this the ability to control the AMD's via PC, RS485 or an ICON CP wall panel. The AMD's also offer comprehensive onboard DSP with EQ and dynamics on each input and output. The AMD's feature an amplified output, plus a balanced stereo line level output, each with individual processing paths including delay. This allows a number of possibilities including using the stereo outputs to drive a larger amplifier and speakers and the amplified output to drive balcony or delay speakers.....and you can time align the system with the integrated delay.

Straight out of the box, the AMD's operate as a conventional mixer amplifier. For more complex or acoustically challenging projects, just connect your laptop to access the powerful DSP and control features.
