HHD once again presents the most exciting and cutting edge developments in hotel room technology, electronics, bathroom fixtures and furnishings at the highly anticipated Hotel Room of the Future, brought to you by Philips. This will be a real-sized, fully functional hotel room on the show floor. Only at HHD can visitors experience first hand the hotel room of tomorrow and the invaluable chance to harness the latest products for the competitive edge.



Today's travellers demand the latest in technology and entertainment features, quality products, stylish, modern design and personal choice – HHD's Hotel Room of the Future delivers on the toughest wants and desires of guests. Visitors can be the first to experience and adopt the Hotel of the Future features in their own hotels. They can speak with the suppliers and gain invaluable knowledge on how the latest developments can assist their business in staying ahead in the industry.

Most importantly experiencing the Hotel Room of the Future is fun. The tour starts with the latest MyStayManager smartphone technology that allows guests to reserve, check-in and manage their in-room dining and spa requirements via their mobile phone. Developer, Micros Fidelio is proudly launching and demonstrating this futuristic hotel mobile technology system for the first time in Australia at HHD 2011. Visitors can test out MyStayManager for themselves before entering the Hotel Room of the Future by making a reservation, checking in through an i-pad and booking a complimentary massage at the 'Micros Spa'and drink at the 'Micros Bar' as part of their Hotel Room of the Future experience.

Once inside the Hotel Room of the Future, guests will be able to control all aspects of room ambience with Suite Control's Control4 device which controls lighting, airconditioning, opening and closing of curtains and a host of other applications with the tap of a finger. The convenience of the OneVision IPTV, by essense, allows guest to access hotel information, in-room dining and the entertainment systems, just to name a few.

The Hotel Room of the Future will feature at its centre the AH Beard bed with ergomotion articulating base – the ultimate in slumber luxury which can be adjusted to satisfy the toughest requirements in sleep and relaxing comfort. Visitors will have the opportunity to test for themselves the myriad of angles and functions this bed is capable of and enjoy the pampering experience.

The Hotel Room of the Future bathroom is also the epitome of luxury with beautifully appointed fittings by Apaiser including the exquisitely modern and stylish curves of the Lunar bath and pool basins. Featured using the gorgeous duo-tone colour technology, these fittings can be customized in design and taste creating truly stunning bathrooms that are at the height of modern design. The pool basins are handcrafted using composite stone providing a sleek, easy care and practical solution to the needs of hotel bathrooms.

Other awe-inspiring features on display at the Hotel Room of the Future include; a kinesis gym fitted to the wall that folds out in minutes to transform the hotel room into a gym and back again.
