Australian furniture company Chairbiz has just released Kobe, the latest seating range from leading Italian furniture brand Desalto. Showcased at this year's Milan furniture fair, Kobe was designed by one of Italy's most internationally renowned and most decorated designers, Piergiorgio Cazzaniga.

Taking its name from the well-known Japanese city, Kobe presents the refined gentle touch of the culture's minimalist aesthetics consisting of calibrated rigour and formal lightness. The result is a functional and comfortable chair, thanks to the flexibility of its backrest, which gently adapts to fit every type of posture.

Its flexible body is moulded from the newest technology in polyurethane - BAYDUR® - a rigid foam which is both fireproof and 100% recyclable, while still retaining its inherent flexibility and resilience to damage.

Kobe's sophisticated design options - including arms, foot rests, base designs, shell colours and seat heights - allow Kobe to be specified to suit any commercial or residential interior or exterior environment.
