Now Available: Australian Monitor AV Revolution iPad App

As we all know, one of the most crucial aspects of a successful audio installation is the user interface your client will interact with every day in the ongoing use of their installed system.

Australian Monitor's Innovation Series, Revolution Series DSP and AMD Amplifiers all offer seamless integration with Crestron or other third party control systems. Australian Monitor also offers simple and easy to use end user GUI's as part of the software suite for Revolution Series processors.

Taking this GUI concept even further, Australian Monitor is currently developing a range of applications for Apple's iPad products, the first of these being the AV Revolution iPad app. The new AV Revolution App offers the same functionality as the AV Revolution software GUI. This presents a simple and intuitive end user interface, giving your client control over their complex AV system that is as simple as launching an App on their iPad.

The first Australian Monitor App is now up and available for download from the Apple App store. Simply go to the Apple App store on iTunes and type Australian Monitor into the search window.

As you can see the AV Rev app allows for volume control and mute of mic/line and stereo inputs per zone as well as zone master levels and master mutes. Each of the fader buttons light up with a blue surround when gestured and also have dB level indication. You can trigger presets from the iPad and there is also an "Online Status" indicator. The look and feel is very much on the same line as the Rev software GUI.

This app helps in making the AV Rev an easy and powerful DSP system to use and also helps to offer a number of low cost and simple user interfaces. Whether you use an ICON CP, the Rev software GUI or the iPad app, the ability to have comprehensive and low cost remote control of their complex audio system is a major step forward for the Australian Monitor Revolution series.
