Overlooking the Brighton Estate Lake, The Cornerstone Ale House development redefines the concept of the traditional British pub, with that in mind the design explores traditional elements in shapes and forms which have been twisted and detailed to a contemporary design. Its character is inviting for the local community to gather for sport, music, food and drinks in a space that caters for all.
The venue attracts their key customer by offering a sophisticated and family friendly design approach which steps away from the customary dark and claustrophobic traditional styles of the past. There have been elements of light added whilst keeping a sense of warmth and welcome. Laser cut panels and indirect lighting allows the venue to change depending on the promotions or occasion. Further use of 3D dimension forms gives the light opportunity to create shadows and highlights which alter naturally depending on time of day.
