Deckhouse
Woolwich Dock
Clarke Road Woolwich
NSW 2110

02 9817 6401

Deckhouse includes a cafe and functions centre with panoramic views of Sydney Harbour. Floor to ceiling windows, outdoor deck and private terrace deliver an idealistic dining experience with a picturesque view of Sydney’s core: the harbour, the bridge and the city skyline.

This new venue is part of the Dedes Group, a family-run business that has operated hospitality establishments on Sydney Harbour for over thirty years. Restauranteur Con Dedes, with a portfolio including Flying Fish, the Sydney Rowing Club and Kirribilli Club, sheds his extensive hospitality experience on Deckhouse to continue his legacy of delivering beautiful food with great service in a breath-taking locale.

Woolwich Dock, the home of Deckhouse, is one of Australia’s largest and oldest working boatyards. Over the next two years, Woolwich

Dock will be transformed into a maritime village, highlighting Sydney’s working harbour heritage.

The venue has a seating capacity of 240 people and 400 guests for a cocktail-style reception. Given the venue, service and location, Deckhouse is ideal for weddings, private functions, product launches and seminars.

The building is constructed about a centrally located sandstone spine wall that bisects the building longitudinally. The wall is intended to reflect the sandstone of Woolwich Dock itself and provide a link with the grand homes of Hunters Hill many of which are constructed in solid stone quarried from the area.

Fitted with the latest audio visual equipment Deckhouse is set to became a valuable addition to Sydney's excellent variety of function venues.

Beyond AV designed and installed the AV opting for JBL speakers: four JBL Control 29AVW in each of the two Function Rooms, four JBL Control 25AV in the Brides Function Room and a further four JBL Control 25AV speakers in the cafe area. These are driven by two Crown CTI2000 amplifiers and two Crown CDI1000 amplifiers.

Both main Functions Rooms house a NEC NP1250 3700 ANSI Lumen LCD Projector with a Screen Technics "Lecturer" motorised screen 100".

Control includes a Nexia PM Digital Signal processor and a Nexia SP Digital Signal processor with a Nexia Voltage Control Box.
